Meet Walter, a 5 year old Neutered Male Chocolate Lab mix from Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue, weighing 45 pounds.

This guy is just great all around! Happy, playful, intelligent, and gentle! He is such a sweet boy and so eager to please his people. He gets along great with other dogs and is good with kids, and house broken. We just can’t believe anyone would give this guy up! Walter is searching for a family to love forever!

Because Walter enjoys the freedom of running and playing off-leash so much in his foster home, but he also has a strong prey drive to chase critters he comes across, for his safety, a completely fenced in yard is REQUIRED to adopt Walter, and he will need a home without cats.
