Becker was found as a stray and was not claimed, so he ended up at high risk for his life in a rural KY pound. STAF stepped in to give this boy the chance he deserves (who could say no to that happy doggy smile he does??).
Becker is 8 months old and weighs 31 lbs. Becker appears to be a mix of Kentucky Feist and Heeler. He’s an eager to please little dog, truly exhibiting the Heeler personality, and absolutely loves attention. This adorable boy is great on leash. He loves long walks and he always turns around to smile and say thank you to his human on the other end of the leash.
Becker immediately made friends with some other STAF dog residents. Becker always greets the new dogs that arrive at STAF with some welcoming dog talk but he also responds well to a gentle reminder that he needs to use his “inside voice”. Becker is very smart and is already proficient in basic training. We are excited to help this spunky guy find his forever family!
Becker’s estimated birth date is August 2017
Becker will need: An active home .
Becker would love: A fenced yard, more positive based training and time with canine friends.
