Whether good luck or just neurosis, the headphones have seen him through many radio experiences. One of Jay’s favorite parts of the job is being able to give back to the community. He cites one of his favorite career moments as “hugging breast cancer survivors at the finish line of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. It’s truly an honor.”
He’s also grateful to be on the board of Brighton Center in Newport which helps families achieve self-sufficiency and board member and past-president at Music Resource Center, Cincinnati – a non-profit after-school music education program for grades 7-12.
When he’s not on Mix 94.9, you can find Jay in the stands and on the ice as the In-Game Host for the Cincinnati Cyclones. Jay also enjoys playing hockey, traveling, collecting old radios, playing guitar and spending time with family.
