Missy is an 8-month-old female beagle mix. She may be small and still shy of 15 lbs., but she is huge on ADORABLE! Missy was brought to STAF by her first family who had rescued her from a friend whose dog had an unexpected litter. After a few months, they realized that they were not equipped to care for or afford to have a puppy. We are thrilled to bring this sweet girl into STAF and to find her a new and forever home.

Missy has an adventurous streak- and will love a family that will help her burn off her puppy energy! She is playful and gets along great with other dogs, and kids of all ages. Missy has a lot of new canine buddies at STAF. When in her original home she spent some time with a high energy 2 year old, but Missy took it in stride and she loved the attention. Missy is doing well with crate training and we are certain that once she gets in a routine, she’ll be pretty easy to house-train. Sweet Missy also does well getting a bath; we think she loves all the rubbing she gets when we dry her off:).
