Pet of the Day

Phillip – 3/26/18

03-26-18 Phillip

Philip (a.k.a. Pip) was dumped at a rural KY pound. Just a puppy and he was already at risk in this very high kill facility. This boy has the face of an angel along with happy-go-lucky puppy energy to burn. He is 6 months old but weighs around 36 lbs. We think he’s a Pyrenees/Lab or Shepherd mix, so once he grows into his big and floppy puppy paws, Pip will probably be a larger adult dog.

Pip is doing well at STAF, and is very interested in all the new dogs that came in around the same time as he did, and being a growing boy he is also very interested in his next meal! He hasn’t met a stranger and no doubt he will bring a smile to your face. If you’re a sucker for bigger dogs, you won’t be able to resist Pip- a big gangly pup, who will no doubt grow by leaps and bounds with so much love to give a home.

This sweet boy loves people (he has done well meeting children as well) and other dogs. Pip can’t wait to find his forever home- and in exchange for playtime, a healthy diet and a safe place to sleep; Pip will reward you with unconditional love, lots of kisses and plenty of joy!
