Pet of the Day

Tiny – 1/2/18

01-02-18 Tiny

This 11-pound Chihuahua/Terrier mix may be small, but don’t try to tell him that- he’s never noticed! He was found as a stray in a tougher neighborhood, apparently living in an abandoned building. He was initially very frightened of meeting new people, which is understandable for a dog living on the streets, where he was most likely shooed away. But after spending time in the loving hands of STAF volunteers, Tiny has discovered that people are nice, and he now loves everyone. We’re so proud of the progress he’s made!

Tiny is an energetic boy, happy to trot along next to you, run in the yard, or play with other dogs. And after all that excitement, he’ll climb into your lap for a cuddle and a nap. He has been attending doggy daycare, where after some initial shyness he met some new friends and explored!

Because of his diminutive size, this little guy will do best in a home without those wobbly toddler-types who can easily fall on tiny Tiny:)

Tiny is ready to find a forever family who will give him the confidence to live out his big-dog dream.
