Pet of the Day

Winthrop – 2/6/18

02-06-18 Winthrop

Winthrop came to the League when his owner became homeless. A gentle and loving older beagle, he was reasonably upset when he first arrived. He immediately became a staff and volunteer favorite. Winthrop is now enjoying his days with an attentive foster family. He is a happy and friendly fellow and willingly accepts all the attention he is receiving.

Winthrop has several soft fatty masses that do not affect his mobility. His extra weight, however, is slowing him down and he is on a diet. Winthrop will love a home where he will be spoiled and pampered but also exercised and feed appropriately. He is great with kids and seems to be fine around other dogs. It won’t take Winthrop any time at all to adjust to a new and adoring family. To meet Winthrop contact the shelter to arrange a time to meet.
